  • Third-Party Integration (Gravatar): An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify if you use it.   • Data Risks: You should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the Website can download and extract any location data from images hosted on the site.

7. How Long We Retain Your Data

In accordance with Decree 13, personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the processing purposes unless a longer retention period is required by Vietnamese law:

  • Comments: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
  • Registered Users: For users who register on our website (if any), we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.

8. Where Your Data Is Sent (Cross-Border Data Transfers)

As an online platform utilizing global cloud infrastructure:

  • International Transfers: The personal data we collect (such as technical identifiers, IP addresses, comment data, and analytics data) may be transferred to, stored, and processed on servers located outside the territory of Vietnam (such as cloud hosting centers or third-party automated spam filters).

  • Right to Consent/Withdraw Consent: You have the right to give, refuse, or withdraw your consent to data processing at any time.
  • Right to Deletion (Erasure): You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Restriction/Objection: You may request that we restrict or stop processing your data.
  • Right to Correction: You can request that we update or correct inaccurate personal data.

Exceptions: Please note that these rights do not apply to data that we are legally obliged or permitted to keep for administrative, legal, regulatory, or security purposes under Vietnamese law.
